Irritated....

I hate Mauricio's job! Someone took that week that we plan to fly to California while Mathew is on Spring Break! So only one person for that week to take time off. Can't have more than 1 person in his dept. uughh.. Ruins my plan! I tried not to be irritated.. Move on. I was thinking about stay at a bed n breakfast by the animal farms where we can pet them, feed them, etc during spring break. They don't have the website of the exotic animal farm and bed & breakfast. Oh well. It says we can interact with Giraffes, Kangaroos, and more-up close. Tours, and Camel/Pony Rides all included with your nights stay. That'll be verrrry interesting. I see a lil boy stand by a baby zebra on the newspaper ad. I should check it out.

Sherrie n her boys are coming!

Love to have a company with her! She want to learn signing. I helped her with that and she help me with cooking, etc. And we are working on projects for crafts. Just to practice and see if't worth sell it. So it will be fun! And sell on ebay and maybe craft shows. Will show u what we plan to do with the crafts as soon as we decide what we want to do. Gotta go they should be here anytime.

Moving?

Mauricio was wondering if I'm willing to move to La! I keep debating to myself if we shld or shld not.

I wld like to because there are so many things to do as a family, farmer's market, go to the beach, Mauricio will see his family more, etc.

I don't want to because it's expensive to live there which means small house, too many people, fast pace, not safe, traffic is awful, and so on.

I guess I'll just listen to what God have to tell me or guide me on those decisions.

How to keep a marriage last long?

I went to church with Mak this morning and it was sooo good to be back. Kerry(interpreter) and Pastor Ron have been married 40 yrs! They were talking about how they keep their marriage work. There were 11 of them. Can't remember all of them.

1. Can't change ur partner or to try to improve. Only ur partner will do it when he or she want to. Accept it.

2. Don't expect if your wife is not like ur mother or ur husband like ur father. Never compare them. Like u love ur mother's way of cooking but ur wife don't cook that way.

3. Learn to forgive and move on. If keep think too much about an issue will lead to wrong path or more plms.

4. Do lil things for ur partner like do dishes, take trashes out etc. Makes u appreciate ur partner more.. Can't expect 50/50. Sometimes, it will be 10/90. That's part of everyday living. Get use to it.

5. Even if u are not interest in things that ur wife or husband like go to colorado for them. Kerry loves to go there but not Ron. He does it for her because he loves her..

6. Feeling of love. Sometimes ur feeling toward for husband or wife will come and go. Just try to remind ur wife or husband that u love him or her everyday. And good thing about the person.

7. Try to laugh more cuz it's best medicine.

8. No secret w money! Always let each other know.

I couldn't think of 3 more. It was a good one.. They said their marriage are not perfect and it takes a lot of hard work.

It's Sunday!

Wow.. It's soo nice not have to go to work last night and come home at 9am on Sunday! I love it. I'm soo glad that I'm working only Thursdays and Sundays! Amen! I'm thankful to have a good boss! Now we can go church which we are leaving soon! Talk some more ltr!

FINALLY!

It's about time we do something for the house! We are going to work on taking wallpapers off. Then hopeful start painting next week. I would like to buy laminate flooring and padding next week and it will be ready whenever we are done with painting! The laminate flooring is for the dining room and the hall. Mauricio want to do the laminate flooring in the living room room but I told him to wait and see. Since that living room floor if u jump the tv shake. I'm getting sooo exciting! I want it all do be done by March because we will be gone out of town for spring break. Then Mathew will have a surgery either in end of March or early April! We are going to paint the dining room, our bedroom and living room. Then will worry about kids' room and playroom(as soon as Uncle Ernesto move out). I want my house to look BEAUTIFUL AND COMFORTABLE! The bathroom is all DONE! Complete remodel but need more decorating! hehe..

2008!

It's been a while since I write a post! Now it's the beginning of 2008. Time goes by toooo fast. For past 2 months have been so crazy. I start working part time at a shelter home for single women and families. Which means I work overnights. It has been a challenge and a big adjustment for me. Since I have to take care of kids full time. Not getting enough sleep, etc. Start study medical coding and billing school online. Right now, I'm study Anatomy and Medical Terminology. As you can see why I haven't post lately. Now that Christmas is over.

Makenzie is going to preschool 2 times a week which is nice! Mak was looking forward to it then on her first day of school and she freaked out! Cried. I explained to her that Mommy will not stay with her, etc. Then on 2nd week, she didn't cry this time. She really enjoyed going to school.

Mathew is doing really good. He loves going to his school. He has been walking a lot without his crutches. His left leg is making it soo difficult for him. He depends on his right leg a lot. When we went home for Christmas and everyone was surprised to see him walking around without crutches! LOL. Of course, he fell sometimes. Sometimes, he need some supports like walk by the wall, etc. Also, he's qualify for neurosurgery!!!! I'm soo exciting for him. I will be more nervous as time gets closer. Prolly plan to have his surgery end of March. It's suppose to help him walk easier, easier to sit, etc. So will wait and see. *crossing my fingers*
